Chiropractic BioPhysics

Chiropractic BioPhysics is a non-invasive chiropractic treatment that combines physical therapy and decompressive therapy to correct the posture of your spine which allows people to regain overall health and proper body function.

Can you tell us exactly what Chiropractic BioPhysics is?

Dr. Luke Stringer: I’ll try my best. Chiropractic BioPhysics for short is CBP, so a specific type of chiropractic treatment where essentially structure (or in layman’s terms) the posture of your spine is evaluated and then essentially rehabilitated. We evaluate it through a session of posture of the spine through x-ray imaging and then we correct the abnormalities within the posture through chiropractic adjustments. We combine that with physical therapy and something unique to Chiropractic BioPhysics, called spinal decompressive therapy, we all know as traction.  It’s non-invasive. It’s non-drug-based and it gets people healthy and well. It’s also one of the most researched and proven techniques in chiropractic.

What are the most common conditions you treat with Chiropractic BioPhysics?

Dr. Luke Stringer: CBP helps many people with a wide variety of health ailments. However, the most common issues we help people with are those that are directly related to poor posture. These include headaches, migraines, neck pain, pain that radiates into the arms, hands, fingers. Also low back pain, sciatica, numbness and tingling to the legs and the feet. However, modern research states that three out of four doctor’s visits are stress-related illnesses and if we have a poor posture, it constantly puts our nervous system and our body in a chronic state of stress. We’re also helping lots of people get great results with those corporate lifestyle diseases that we see which are fatigue, anxiety, insomnia, and poor digestion.

How long does it typically take for patients to get relief from pain?

Dr. Luke Stringer: It all depends on the patient and the condition. However, many of our patients feel relief immediately. However, it’s usually after around six visits, we start seeing some really positive changes not only in the patient’s symptoms but also in their lifestyle.

How important is good posture in preventing back pain?

Dr. Luke Stringer: Good posture is critical in how we feel and function. As I previously stated, it’s estimated around 75% of Westernized sickness and disease stems from stress and again, if we have a poor posture, it constantly facilitates our nervous systems and puts us in a chronic state of stress. This can have many poor health effects on our body so good posture is really important for providing support to the low back and preventing low back pain but it’s also critical for our overall health and wellness.

Does Chiropractic BioPhysics help your patients avoid surgery?

Dr. Luke Stringer: In short, yes. It is especially good at prolonging or preventing surgery, specifically for people who have damaged discs. We’ve had many success stories in the office where unfortunately patients come to us as a last resort and they’ve been recommended surgery and that’s obviously a route they don’t want to go and putting them through a corrective care program. We have many testimonials and reviews online from people who are now living a full and healthy life without having to go through the surgery they were recommended.
