How we track your progress
The program is built around measurement, not guesswork — with a defined start and a defined finish line.
Week 4 — Progress exam
You'll complete a progress questionnaire and we'll re-perform your examination. Your doctor reviews both with you — how you feel (subjective) and what we can measure (objective) — and your physical therapy protocols are updated for the next phase.
Week 8 — Exit exam
A progress questionnaire and full re-examination, including a new set of X-rays. At your final visit, your doctor walks you through your before-and-after: where you started, and where you are now — measured, side-by-side.
Expected results
The Knee Restoration Program is designed to support measurable, functional improvement — not just subjective pain relief. The specific outcomes vary by patient and condition severity, but many patients who complete the full 8-week protocol report:
- Reduced knee pain during daily activities and exercise
- Improved range of motion and joint flexibility
- Increased walking distance and stair-climbing ability
- Less reliance on pain medication for many patients
- Improved confidence in the knee during physical activity
- A chance to explore non-surgical options before considering surgery
For many patients, improvement builds gradually over the course of the program. Those who complete the full protocol and keep up their home exercise program often maintain their gains over the long term. Periodic maintenance sessions may be recommended based on your individual situation.
If you take prescribed medication, never change or stop it without consulting the physician who prescribed it — our care works alongside your medical care.
Who this program is for
The Knee Restoration Program is designed for patients who:
- Have knee osteoarthritis (early to moderate stage) and want to improve function without surgery
- Experience chronic knee pain that hasn't responded to rest, medication, or cortisone injections alone
- Have been told they may need a knee replacement but want to explore non-surgical options first
- Are active individuals dealing with knee degeneration who want to maintain their activity level
- Have tried individual treatments (PT, injections, bracing) without lasting results and need a more comprehensive approach
- Want to address the root causes of their knee dysfunction — not just manage symptoms
Frequently asked questions
Is the Knee Restoration Program right for me?
The program is designed for patients with knee osteoarthritis, chronic knee pain, or knee degeneration who want a comprehensive, non-surgical approach. The best way to determine if you're a candidate is to schedule a consultation — we'll review your history, examine your knee, take digital X-rays, and give you a clear recommendation at your plan conference. Not every patient needs the full program; some may benefit from individual components instead.
How much does the program cost?
The Knee Restoration Program is a bundled protocol, and pricing reflects the comprehensive nature of the care — 16 coordinated treatment sessions over 8 weeks, plus your chosen pathway's injection support. We'll walk you through the full investment at your Visit 2 conference, including three ways to pay and any insurance coverage that may apply to individual components. We believe in transparent pricing with no surprises.
Will my insurance cover this?
Some individual components of the program (such as physical therapy and certain injection codes) may be covered by insurance. Other components may be out-of-pocket. Our team will help you understand exactly what your plan covers before you commit. Many patients find the total investment compares favorably to the cost of surgical intervention and post-surgical rehabilitation.
What if I've already tried physical therapy or injections without success?
Isolated treatments often produce limited results for complex knee conditions — that's exactly why this program exists. The difference here is that you're receiving five complementary treatments in a coordinated protocol. The decompression, shockwave, red light, chiropractic care, and physical therapy each address a different aspect of knee dysfunction — with injection support added where your knee needs it. When combined strategically, the whole is greater than the sum of its parts. Many of our best outcomes come from patients who felt they had "tried everything" before finding this approach.
